Comox Valley Songwriter's Circle
Founded and hosted by Helen, this group meets on the first Wednesday of every month at the Muir Gallery, Courtenay, BC.
Voices Three
Helen Austin, Sue Pyper, and Judy Wing.
A concert in it's third year held at the Sid Williams Theatre. An evening of entertainment that raises spirits, as well as money for the Comox Valley Hospice Society.
Fiddlejam
A weekly fiddle jam that Helen plays with along with her two children. Age range is from 5 to 95.
Time Well Wasted
Helen is one of three singers that front this 12 piece R&B, soul, disco band. They have played Merrit Mountain Festival, supported Tom Cochrane and play at many fundrasing events.
Strathcona Symphony Orchestra
Community based orchestra in the Comox Valley.
Relay for Life
Wonderful event to raise money for cancer research. In 2006 I contibuted a song, along with Judy Norbury and Ken Cooper, for the CD Songs for Hope, which is still being to sold to raise money.
